INVESTMENT CRITERIA

Like most venture funding companies, Cahn Medical Ventures is very selective about the enterprises in which it makes investments. In the aggregate, however, our investment criteria are unique to CMV.

We are likely to invest in companies that have:

• Differentiable, medically-valuable, patented technology
• Commercial endorsement represented by corporate-funded research and/or development
• A strong management core
• Medium-sized markets
• Received previous backing from angel or small- to medium-sized venture capital firms
• Approval of FDA of Phase I clinical trial, at a minimum
